Who would have thunk it. I’m reading a book. Not only A book but a SERIES of books, the 2nd of which is in the picture.
I’m guessing I have not read a work of fiction in at least 10 years. So what would make me break my fast of reading?
A Song of Ice and Fire. That’s the name of the series (which isn’t on the cover of the books by the way). The first book is titled A Game of Thrones and it came out I believe in 1996.
It’s about castles, knights, family houses, etc. and I enjoyed the hell out of the first book. I finished it just yesterday and I ran out today and got the second book.
This will be quite an ordeal. The first book was 809 pages and looking forward I see this second one is 969. (gulp!)
